In commemoration of the completion of the panorama of MISSIONARY RIDGE (50 x 400=20,000 square feet) the directors of the panorama company gave a dinner to the artists engaged i n the work at Kinsley's last evening. Frank M. Blair, the President of the company, did the honors...the guests being Theodore Russell Davis, who superintended the painting, and the following artists, nearly all of whom are from Germany: August Lohr, F.W.Heine,Albert Richter, Franz Rohrbeck, Theodore Breitwiser, Hermann Michalowski, Bernhard Schneider, William Schroter, of Milwaukee, and Mr William Wehner,Chicago.
