She graduated from Tutwiler High School in 1964. Shirley retired from the United States Postal Service in 2002. She loved spending time reading and singing to her grandkids as well as watching John Wayne movies. Shirley was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Harmon; son, Harmon E. Feather, Jr. (Amy) of Newburgh, IN; daughters, Cristy Whitehead (Andy) of Palmyra, TN and Betsy Cave (Tom) of Chandler; and grandchildren, Jamie Whitehead, JaiLynne Whitehead, Natalie Feather, Shelby Cave and Wayne Feather.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Ray and brother, Robert Ray.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 with Pastor Don Moore officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2019.
