Wallace F. Rock Jr., 69, formerly of Utica, died Wednesday at Clinton County Nursing Home..
He was born the son of Wallace Sr and Hazel (Frenyea) Rock.
His first wife, the former Doris Squires, died in 1986. His wife, the former Rita Murray, died in 1979.
Mr. Rock had worked at BFD Paper Mill for many years. He lived and worked in Utica for some years, returned to live with his son, Ronald Rock of Cadyville, then moved to the Clinton County Nursing Home. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
Survivors include three sons, Carlton Rock of Coco, FL, Ronald Rock of Cadyville and Donald Rock of Utica, who is with the USAF; two daughters, Audrey Bonner and Deborah Rock both of Marcy; a sister, Mrs. Marion Fountain of Saranac; 10 grandchildren; five g-grandchildren.
