Samuel Montgomery, 58 years old, died suddenly at his home in Thompsonville following a paralytic stroke. He was found in a field where he had been working and died soon after. The funeral was held at the Willisburg Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs Thomas Craven, Bardstown; Miss Ebby Montgomery, Thompsonville and three sons, Elmer, Ezra and Houston.
