Gaylon Travis Hobbs, 34, of Elkhart, Texas died July 12, 2007 at his residence. Burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine. He was born March 2, 1973 in National City, Calif. to Gaylon and Teresa Suzzettee Robinson Hobbs. Mr. Hobbs was a deputy constable and served in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm. He was a member of the DAV. He is survived by his wife, Susan Hobbs of Elkhart; daughter, Cameron Hobbs of Elkhart; parents, Gaylon and Teresa Hobbs of Elkhart; grandparents, Harlin and Anne Hobbs of Canton and Norma Robinson of Chula Vista, Calif.; brothers, Charlie Hobbs of Elkhart and Eric Robinson of Cleveland, Tenn.
