Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Barbara Jean (Laviolette) Gilbert McKeown, at the age of 92 years. Wife of the late Donald Gilbert and Douglas McKeown. Cherished mother of Bonnie Gilbert and Robert Gilbert. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Mark and Justin Lemoyne and Todd Gilbert. Will also be missed by her three great grandchildren Patrick, Alex and Mathieu. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Lyda and Joseph Laviolette. A private graveside service will be held in The National Field of Honour Cemetery, Pt. Claire at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with the IRVINE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 4 James St. E., Brockville.
