Children: John, Henry, Lydia, Benton, James, Emily, Nelson, Wilson D & Benjamin Salmon.
Ben was a Capt in the War of 1812 in NM and was fatally wounded at San Fernandez de taos, NM by Apache Indians. He was reported to have been buried in Taos, New Mexico. When that cemetery was abandoned burials there were reported to have been moved to San Fe National Cemetery. Records there indicate that happened but many of the graves were marked as "Unknown".
