ADDISON, KATHERINE SUE (WADE) (Age 77) Of Ranson, WV, formerly of North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia, passed away Tuesday , October 29, 2019. Born January 06, 1942 in Buchanan County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lucy Wade. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Hayes Gilmer Addison. She graduated from Garden High School and had a long career with Bell Atlantic/Verizon.
Sue was also preceded in death by brothers Aubrey Wade, Emory Wade, James Wade, Stuart Wade; and sisters Mary Reinhardt and Xenna Cusick. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bryan Sloper of Jefferson, MD; two sons and their wives, Gregory and Michelle Addison of Arnold, MD and Eric and Monica Addison of Ranson,WV; ten grandchildren, Kelsey, Joshua, Bryan, Isaiah, Georgia, John, Amelia, Annie, Abigail, and Charles; and brother Wilfred Wade.
A memorial service will be held at 11a.m.,Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Garden United Methodist Church in Oakwood, VA. Burial will follow in the Mutter-Addison Cemetery in Marvin, Virginia.
