They lived their entire loving married life in Arena, WI.
Robert preceded her in death in 2000. Together they raised 7 children as well as taking care of many foster children. There were also many nieces and nephews who loved to visit. Their children were always their top priority.

Their children include: Susan (Bill) Sweigert of Fredericksburg, PA, Robert Christian Jr. of Superior, WI, Mark (Brittany) Bartman of N.E. Carnation, WA, Ruth Ann (Rusty) Albright of Annville, PA, Tyson, Tylon, & Tyron Christian all of Madison, WI. Sandy also had 10 grandchildren Kelsey, Kari, and Dustin Crook, Tyler (Heidi) Christian, Alyssa Christian, Ashlee (Bruce) Bae, Amber Albright, Caitlin Bartman, Jasmine Christian, and Jonathan Gunderson.

Others that will miss her wonderful being: brother, Dick (Nancy) Campbell of Capron, IL, brother-in-law, Gordon (Marj) Christian of Helena, WI; special friends, Mary Bridgeman, Betts Hill and Sharon Gunderson; special brothers-in-law, Curt Gullick and John Mars.

Life was empty for Sandy after losing her husband. Then she met Denny Pechan. They spent 18 happy years together and became engaged. They loved camping and fishing together. Denny’s family includes 2 sons, John Pechan and Tom (Jess) Pechan and their children Colt and Cable.
Along with her husband, Sandy was preceded in death by 10 brothers & sisters, her parents, and a very special niece Cami Nelson.

Sandy’s family wants to extend a special thank you to Pine Valley Community for the care and love they gave mom. From the administration to the people in every department anything she needed was taken care of. A special thank you to Marce Jelinek, Kathy Bingham, nurses Deb Winch and Deb Schmitz, and Ryan Elliott.
