Services for Ralph M. Beery, 71, of 2725 North Five Mile Road, who died Monday at a Boise hospital after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cloverdale Funeral Home by the Rev. John J. Dawson Jr. of the First United Methodist Church of Boise. Interment will be at Cloverdale.
Mr. Beery was born Nov. 20, 1898, in Page County, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Brackett Gillette on Aug. 17, 1942, in Eugene, Ore. He came to Idaho with his parents, David M. and Ida M. Beery, in 1903 and attended Meridian schools. He had military training at the University of Idaho during World War I. He worked for Morgan Staley Lumber Co. of Portland until the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Boise; a son, John M. Beery of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wiscombe of Boise; two stepsons, Doran L. Gillette of Pocatello and Robert E. Gillette of Foster City, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Beulah M. Moon of Spokane, Mrs. Ruth M. Gaylord of Boise and Mrs. Nola M. Madden of Meridian; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers include Robert E. Smith, Patrick Davis, Ralph H. Stamper, Finas Harvey, Lawrence L. Peck and Carl Stoops.
