∼Rosie Slape, age 74, of Alpena, Arkansas, died Friday, June 29, 2007, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born October 9, 1932, in Delmar, Arkansas, the daughter of James E. and Eva L. (Binam) Warren. Mrs. Slape was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty years, Otto Slape; four sisters, an infant sister, Oda Cisco, Eppa Sisco and Leona McNair; and a grandson, Michael Roberts.
Rosie was of the Baptist faith. She was a cook and custodian at Alpena School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Club.
Rosella "Rosie" Slape is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Linda Roberts, of Green Forest, Arkansas; her sister, Halena McNair, of Alpena; two grandsons, Greg Roberts and his wife Lisa and Tim Roberts, all of Green Forest; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Brittanie Rose-Marie Roberts, both of Green Forest; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of dear friends throughout the community.
Interment was in Shady Grove Cemetery
