Andrew John Yost, 49, of Barboursville, VA passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on October 3, 1968 in Fairfax, VA to Richard Yost and the late Patricia Lahner Yost.
Andy enjoyed bicycling, serving, cooking and the outdoors. His loving soul and faith in Christ reached so many throughout his life. He loved children and one of his many passions was being a foster parent. Above all he was a devoted husband and father who will be missed dearly.
In addition to his father he is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lee Anne Yost; children, Parker, Hannah, Micah, and Bethany; and siblings, Katrina, Bruce, Marcia, Brian, Brenda and Alan.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, VA 22968.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Covenant Church, 1025 Rio Rd E, Charlottesville, VA 22901.The family requests casual attire for the celebration.
Interment will be private in Ruckersville Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home of Ruckersville, VA is handling the arrangements.
