In Memory of Evalyn Virginia RADBURY
August 28, 1926 - September 18, 2019

Evalyn "Virginia" Radbury, 93, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family in the afternoon of September 18, 2019.
Virginia was born August 28, 1926 in West Plains, Missouri to John Benton Collins and Cora Mae Collins. Virginia was raised in Missouri and Colorado and was surrounded by six brothers and a sister.
Virginia was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Sister, five of her brothers, and her two oldest Sons, George Benton Asher and John Howard Asher Jr. Virginia is survived by a brother Neal Collins in Arkansas, Gene Radbury, her Husband of 50 years, her children Constance Rovan, Jack Keith Asher, James Steven Asher, Stanley Duane Asher, Janet Marie Asher, Pamela Joyce Asher, Timothy Charles Asher, and Step Daughter Michele Compton. Virginia also has 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
Virginia loved to quilt and in our marriage, she completed more than 105 quilts. In the evenings, she would sit at the end of the couch and piece while watching TV. Later with the quilt in the frame, she would work 2 to 4 hours a day with fingers flying.
Virginia worked for Goettle Metals in the late fifty's and early sixty's building evaporative coolers. She and her work partner could shut down the line by overloading it with their speed.
Later Virginia got into electronics assembly in the mid sixty's. Again she amazed most people with her speed and accuracy.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Club House at the Holiday Village Trailer Park at 701 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude's or one of the charities that support our wounded warriors.
