The Rev. Frank Hirlston of Kelso, died
Thursday in the Lincoln County Hospital
following a long illness. He was 74 years
old.
Services were Saturday afternoon at the
Chapel of the Gallant Funeral Home with
the Rev. Darin Oakes officiating and
burial was in the Kelso Cemetery.
He was a retired farmer and a native
of Madison County, Ala.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Susie
Caldwell Hirlston; two sons, Ellis Hirlston
of Lincoln County and Monroe Hirlston
of Murfreesboro; two sisters Mrs. Irene
Rutledge of Lincoln County and Mrs.
E. B. Swinford of Tullahoma; a brother,
Hillard Hirlston of Lincoln County, five
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
