Cora Lee Greene, 91, of Morganton passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019. Born in Cherokee County, SC on March 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James Walter Taylor and Nannie Mae Owensby Taylor.
Cora was a member of Mtn. View #2 Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and loved her dogs. Cora retired from Grace Hospital.
In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, John Harold Greene; three sisters; and seven brothers.
The cryptside service will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Sid Houk officiating.
