The daughter of the late John Briscoe Conner, and Evelyn Mitchell Conner, she was born in Rutherford County on December 05, 1960.
Susan attended Roundhill Baptist Church, and was known as a selfless person, known to always put the needs of others in front of herself.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family will proudly remember her as a loving mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her late husband, Creed Willard Crotts Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her four children, Anthony Crotts, Michael Crotts (Stephanie), Brittany Crotts (Brandon), and Rebecca Crotts (Juan); two sisters, Bonnie Smith (Darrell), and Melissa Broadway; three brothers, Andy Conner (Ann), Eric Conner (Lisa), and Todd Conner. Susan also leaves behind eight precious grandchildren, Alesha, Creed, Blake, Fraya, Dean, Holden, Madison and Thalia.
A service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Reverend Michael Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
