Mrs. Eveline Daniels Pittman, 75, died Saturday afternoon (August 20, 2005) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.

She is a native of and has lived most of her life in Ware County. She was a homemaker and member of First Assembly of God.

She is the daughter of the late George Daniels and Loney Corbett Daniels. She is preceded in death by two brothers, J. D. and Leon Daniels; and three sisters, Ethel Chancey, Kathleen Minchew and Mary Thomas.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Cecil Pittman of Waycross; two daughters, Rachel Buckley (husband Jimmy) and Shirley Massey both of Waycross; three sons, James Pittman of Blackshear, Andy Pittman of Waycross, and Cecil Dewayne Pittman (wife Ellen) of Waycross; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Lizzie Matheson of Waycross; a sister-in-law, Bessie Daniels (late husband Leon) of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday (August 23, 2005) at First Assembly of God. Burial will follow in High Bluff Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the church.
