He was born to Burt Lee and Ethel Williams Drennan. Mr. Drennan was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, where he was in the Ventures Sunday School Class. He also was a member of Camden Masonic Lodge 11 and was a 32nd-degree Mason with the Little Rock Lodge. He retired as a shift foreman from Alcoa in 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Lou Presley; a grandson, Russ Allen Grant; and two brothers, William Lynn Drennan and Bill Helmer Drennan. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ella Sue Drennan; a daughter, Carol Lee Hamner and husband Ralph of North Little Rock; a son-in-law, William Presley of Baton Route, La; 3 grandchildren, Curtis Wood and wife Gwen of Benton, Karen Leigh Saunders and husband Brian of Athens, Ga; and Brian Presley of Baton Rouge, La; 4 great-grandchildren, Drennan Leigh Saunders, Edward Cooper Saunders, William Carter Wood and Emily Grace Wood.
