Enes Joseph Chaisson, age eighty-two years, of Marksville, passed away on January 5, 2010 at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Esther St. Romain Chaisson; a son, Michael Shane Chaisson; an infant granddaughter, Kristen Danae Patton; and a grandson, Joshua Lavergne.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Cole Chaisson of Pineville; six sons, Oscar James Chaisson of Alabama; Bobby Lavergne of Mississippi, Enes Joseph Chaisson, Jr. of Florida, Troy Chaisson of Crowley, Richard Chaisson of Fifth Ward, and Ray Paul Chaisson of Marksville; four daughters, Carolyn Istre of Crowley, Delilah Cormier of Rayne, Druscilla Chaisson of Crowley, and Lisa Bettevy of Fifth Ward; two sisters, Rita Johnson of Crowley and Joyce Smith of Texas; twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
