Carol A. Grant, 65, of 524 E. 22nd St., died at 5:58 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where a parish wake service will be at 3 p.m.
She was employed at Barnsted-Thermolyne for 28 years until her retirement.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1941, in Dubuque, daughter of John T. and Charlotte C. (Gerstkamp) Grant.
Carol was a graduate of Dubuque Senior High School, class of 1959.
She was a member of Sacred Heart parish.
Carol enjoyed bowling and dancing. She was a wonderful person, always ready to help.
Carol will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are three brothers, John T. "Jack" (Karen) Grant, of Peosta, Iowa, Michael C. Grant, of Dubuque, and Edward (Joan) Grant, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Donna Wooldridge, of Dubuque; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Rose M. Brimeyer, of Dubuque.
