William J. Fonda, for several years a keeper in the Albany county penitentiary, died Thursday after a long illness at his home in Cohoes. He was born in Stottville and had lived in Cohoes fifty-five years. He is survived by his wife and a sister, Mrs James Dewey, of Troy. The Columbia Republican, Tuesday, January 28, 1913.
