Aleene was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a hard worker and loved to cook, sew, quilt and garden. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings over her lifetime. She was also a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Aleene and Ray served a mission in Rosebud, South Dakota.
Aleene is survived by four sons, Kevin J. (Robyn); Brice M. (Jayne); Kray D. (Christie); Barry R. (Jamie) and three daughters, RaeLene (Doug) Kennedy; Linae Barkdull and Zan Alder. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Aleene has two surviving sisters, Faye Adams and Judy (DelMar) Stevens, both of Layton, UT.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Brent R. Barkdull, William D. Barkdull,
three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00am at Russon Mortuary, 1941 North Main, Farmington, UT., where a viewing will be held prior to the services at 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Interment-Farmington City Cemetery.
