Patricia Jo “Patty” Blacketer, 62, Atchison, Kansas died Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the Atchison Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in the Hackett Cemetery, Dearborn, Missouri. Visitation with the family will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at the funeral home from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. Memorials to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
Patty was born January 15, 1957 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Joe and Gladys Stalder McCoole. She attended Rushville Elementary School and graduated from Dekalb High School. She then attended three years of college.
She and James M. Blacketer, Jr., were united in marriage on December 30, 2005 in Atchison, Kansas.
Patty received her CNA, CMA and was a registered phlebotomist working at the Wathena Nursing Home, Wathena, Kansas and the Plasma Center in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley and watching Hallmark movies on the television.
