ROSCOE - LeRoy R. Ainsworth, 75, of Roscoe died Saturday morning, April 6, 1997, at Beloit (Wis.) Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Born Aug. 30, 1920, in Rockford, son of John and Theresia Johnnson Ainsworth. Married Irene Love on Dec. 21, 1947, in Roscoe. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and was employed for 25 years as a mechanic for Bryden Motors, retiring in 1982. Member of Roscoe VFW and Rockton American Legion. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors: wife, Irene; six children, Patricia (John) Owen of Carbondale, Colo., Judy (Bill) Marquis and Robert (Renate) Ainsworth of Roscoe, Lorrie (David) Gorrell of Grabill, Ind., Michael Ainsworth of Roscoe and Theresia (Jeff) Dahl of Rockford, two foster sons, William Kerley of Florida and Steven Kerley of Zion; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents, son, James, two brothers and three sisters.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, in Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home, 1401 Blackhawk Blvd., South Beloit. Burial in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. 4-7-2#
