FORMER JOPLIN WOMAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Mrs. Catherine E. Adams, 69 years old, mother of the late Carl Adams of the Carl Adams Furniture Company, died Thursday at her home in Los Angeles, according to information received here yesterday by her niece, Mrs. George Ober, wife of the city editor of the News Herald.
Mrs. Adams had resided in Los Angeles since she left Joplin about three years ago. She formerly resided at Racine, south of here, where it is expected that her body will be buried beside that of her husband. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Polk Buzzard of Racine and Mrs. Suttles of Peirce City and one brother, Thomas Carlin, of Seattle, Wash.
