Wanda Lee Minini, 89, of Seal Beach died at her home on October 17, 2019, from a Cancer related disease. Services and internment will take place at Forest Lawn Church of our Father, in Cypress, California on October 28, at 11:30 a.m. The Reverend Dr. Dee Lilly of Presbyterian Church of the Master in Mission Viejo will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Minini was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on May 18, 1930, to Lonnie and Nora Whisnant. One of four children, she was a graduate of Compton High School in Compton, California. Wanda had survived her brother John Edward Whisnant of Los Angeles, three sisters, Melda Camsuzou of San Luis Obispo, Anna Roh of Yorba Linda and Jaunita Hare of Seal Beach. She married her husband, Alex, on October 21, 1949. They lived together for 51 years until Alex's death in 2000. Wanda worked for many years as an escrow officer at her sister Anna's escrow company.
Wanda is survived by her four children, sons Randy and wife Linda, and Derek; daughters Kimberly and husband Kevin Rex, and Kelli and husband Mark Hunter; seven Grandchildren Adam, Taylor, Trenton, Dean, Daniel, Dana, Mason; and three Great Grandchildren Riley, Charlotte, and Hannah.
