Alice M. Becker, age 86, of Mayer, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born Nov. 15, 1924, in Mayer, the daughter of Henry and Emma (Drusch) Gloege.
Alice was a hard worker on the farm, enjoying every aspect of farm life. She loved to tend to her garden and go fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reynard; and parents Henry and Emma Gloege.
Alice is survived by her loving family: sons and daughters-in-law Henry and Judy Becker, and David and Linda Becker, all of Mayer; grandchildren Brian Becker, Laura Becker, Reynard Becker and fiancée Betty Jo Thaemert, and Jacob Becker; great-grandson Noah; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
