Born in 1862 in Illinois, he was a member of the Methodist church and teacher of Pickett's Progressive Sunday school class, which still bears his name, for a number of years.
He is survived by three sons, Alva Pickett, Eden; Carlyle Pickett, Eugene, Ore., and Dr. Paul Pickett, Glendale, Calif., and one daughter, Vera Pickett, Pasadena, Calif.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Twin Falls cemetery under the direction of White mortuary.
