A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on June 23, 2018, at Willamette Cemetery, 2640 Old Salem Road NE, Albany, for Robert "Bob" Lee Barnes, who passed away May 5, 2018, and his wife, Meryle Ruth Barnes, who passed away August 16, 2015. Pastor Greg Lincoln of Harrisburg Church of God, 7th Day, will be officiating. Gordon Kuryluk will sing. There will be military honors.

Bob was born April 20, 1930, in Crowder, Oklahoma, to Robert and Susan Barnes. He graduated from Harrisburg High School. Bob was a Korean War Veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Michael (Jeannette) of Olympia, Washington, and Rod (Karen) of Beaverton; and one daughter, Cathy (Bill) Anderson of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by three brothers, Paul of Jacksonville, Florida, Joseph of Sacramento, California, and Mark of Eugene; and sister, Betty of Philomath; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
