Mary Kathryn Wright Jackson
Mary Kathryn Bergin Wright, 79, a Retired , died 09, July, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center, Jackson. Visitation is today, 5-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. July 12, 2007 at St Michael's Catholic Church in Paulding with burial in the St Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Wright was born October 24, 1927 in Paulding to the late Leonard and Bertha H. Bergin She graduated Valedictorian form Heidleberg High School and attended Drones Business College, and began work for the telephone company in Meridian and met Lt. Rayburn C. Wright of the United States Air Force. They were married on June 19, 1948.
The Wright family traveled all over the United States and Canada and moved to Jackson in 1964. In Jackson she worked at Hinds General Hospital, Harbor House and the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. She was active in Alcoholics Anonymous for 28 years.
Survivors include: son, Ray Wright and his wife, Janet of Bolton; daughter, Sharon Noone and her husband, Charles of Jackson; brothers, Freddie Bergin of Paulding ;Hugh Bergin and wife, Annette of Laurel; Ray Bergin and his wife, Kitty of Kentwood, La., and Paul Bergin of Paulding; sisters, Anne Caraway and her husband, Will of Laurel; Threse Grant and her husband, Dale of Raleigh; grandchildren, Chris Noone, Craig Noone, Katy Breaux, Jennifer Wright, Courtney Noone and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Bertha Bergin; husband, Rayburn C. Wright and grandson, Chad Noone.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
