Marble Hill, Mo - Charlie "Bub" Priest, 78, a resident of Marble Hill, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at his home.

He was born Jan. 17, 1941, in East Prairie, Missouri, to the late Jessie Lee and Mary Maggielean Fobar Priest. On Nov. 11, 1994, in Bollinger County, Missouri, he married Jo Hensley, who survives of the home.

He worked as a self-employed carpenter until the time he retired. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who loved refinishing antiques and flea market finds.

Other survivors include his daughters, Stephanie Day of Marble Hill and Chrissy Elliott of Jackson; stepdaughters, Wendi Harper and Kristi Watts, both of Kansas City, Missouri; stepson, Damien Ewens; sister, Nell Mainor of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.

Visitations will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with John Henry Harris officiating. A private interment will follow at a later date.
