Lindsey was born in Paducah on July 12, 1946 to the late Alton and Bertie Elois Marritt Horn. He was a retired truck driver who liked to hunt and fish in his earlier days, and was known to some as the "Waffle Hut Mayor". He will be remembered as being stubborn but funny and always softhearted.
Lindsey is survived by his son, Lindsey Horn, Jr. and wife Anke, of Paducah; granddaughter, Lauralee Machaen and husband, Jorge, of Paducah; grandson, Julian Horn of Paducah; sister, Mary Eloise Followell and husband, Robert "Bud", of Sebree, Florida; and one brother, Bobby Horn and wife, Sherry Kay, of Paducah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Alton Anderson Horn, Jr. and Willie Joseph Horn, Sr.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
