SAMPSON ARDWIN
June 9, 1931 ~ October 15, 2019

Sampson Ardwin, 88, of Ashdown, AR passed away October 15, 2019 in Mena, AR.

He was born June 9, 1931 in Ashdown to the late Osia and Virgie Ardwin. Mr. Ardwin served in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ollie Mae Ardwin, grandson, Glen Sullivan, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Aubrey Ray and Judy Ardwin of Gillham, AR, Dennis Wayne and Juanita Ardwin of Ashdown and David Eugene and Theresa Ardwin of Ashdown, one daughter, Neta Fay Sullivan of Ashdown,

One brother, John Ardwin of Ashdown, four sisters, Mary Cullen, Betty Simmons, Ethel Tabler and Edith Hoover, all of Ashdown, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Graveside services will be Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 at Ardwin Cemetery in Ashdown with Travis Young officiating.
