Gladys Lewis Finley, 74, of Nebo, died Sunday, July 23, 2000 in The McDowell Hospital.
Born to Joseph L. and Pansy Patterson Lewis, she was a homemaker, who formerly worked at Clinchfield Manufacturing Co. She was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Earl Ray Finley; a daughter, Joretta "Jody" Finley, of Marion; a son, Gary Finley and his wife, Connie, of Nebo; five sisters: Ruby Turner, Romania Teaster, June Lee, Ruth Hensley and Louise Jimeson, all of Marion; two brothers: Johnny and Tommy Lewis, both of Nebo; two granddaughters: Vicki Martin of Lincolnton, NC and Carrie Beth Finley of Nebo; a great grandson, Joshua Pyatt of Lincolnton, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Burial was in McDowell Memorial Park.
