He was the son of Calvin and Alice (Upton) Ainsworth. He served with the US Navy during WWII and was involved the North Africa and Normandy invasions. He met Pauline Blagg in Kinta, and they were married Oct. 28, 1943, in Stigler. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lillie Ainsworth Mizell and Anna Ainsworth Powell. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Keith Swezey of Edmond; two sons, and daughters-in-law, Charles and Candice Ainsworth of Oklahoma City, and Paul and Ann Ainsworth of Keota; seven grandchildren and one brother, Leo Ainsworth. Funeral services were held in the First Baptist Church of Kinta with burial at the Quinton Cemetery.
