WATERFORD—William L. Galpin, 72, of 10 Wilcox Court, Waterford, died suddenly on Friday at his home. He was a retired US Navy Chief serving both in World War II and Korea. After his retirement from the Navy he was employed as an inspector for Electric Boat, retiring in 1968. Mr. Galpin has lived in Waterford for the past 23 years.
Alderson-Prentis Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave, New London, is in charge of the arrangements.
