Funeral services for Donna Aiken, 61, of Ledbetter, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2019 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Chaplain Doug Tromblee officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Hills, Texas.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm.

Donna Kay (Schaefer) Aiken was born on February 22, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to Ivan and Margie (Holub) Schaefer. Donna married Gordon Stephen Aiken on August 31, 1969 in Angleton, Texas. She was a loving and devoted homemaker to her family. Donna enjoyed bowling, dancing, shopping and raising cattle on their ranch in Ledbetter. Family was always first and foremost in her life and she loved taking care of her grandchildren and attending family events and parties.

Donna passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at her home in Ledbetter.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon S. Aiken of Ledbetter; two daughters, Sherrie Aiken of Ledbetter and Kathleen Aiken and her husband, Jonathan Rosado of Ledbetter; four grandchildren, Rebekkah Richardson, Jack Elliott, Dominic Rosado and Madelyn Rosado all of Ledbetter; her mother, Margie Plant of Muldoon; her father, Ivan Schaefer of Seguin; three sisters, Teresa Bueno of Bay City, Susan Kutac of Schulenberg and Deborah Moore of Kansas; three brothers, Robert Plant. Jr. of Bay City, Glenn Plant of Bay City and David Plant of La Grange; as well as numerous nieces , nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials can be made to the Giddings Animal Shelter, 1900 South Leon St., Giddings, TX 78942, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of one's choice.
