He was a founding member and treasurer of Victory Baptist Church in Cabot. Woody was a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad for over forty years.
He is preceded in death by his infant son Charles Edward, sister Joyce Tindall, and wife Carmen Woodiel.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters Robbie Skinner and Gina (Rodney) Hicks; three grandchildren, Christa (Kevin) Staples, Matt (Katie) Eads and Bradlee Hicks; four great-grandchildren; brother Bobby (Mary Frances) Woodiel and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Stoney Point Cemetery.
