Mark Taylor Bergman, 62, died October 13, 2019 at his home in Scottsboro, AL surrounded by family.
Mr. Bergman was born on January 9, 1957 in Huntsville, AL to James and Sue Bergman. He attended Scottsboro High School before serving in the Navy from 1975 to 1983 and then he continued to serve in the Naval Reserves for another decade. In 1991, he began working with TVA at Widows Creek where he retired in 2016.

Mark is survived by his wife, Pat Nichols Bergman, his three daughters Aubrey (Joshua) Freeman, Amy Guthrie, and Kimberly Bergman, his grandchildren, Thomas Freeman, Sarah Grace Freeman, Elizabeth Freeman, Anna Freeman, Daniel Freeman, and Layla Goff, and his brothers, Jim Bergman and Ed Bergman and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Sue Bergman, and his nephew, Will Bergman.

Visitation will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a private service for family to follow.
