Catherine D. Ditzler "Usner", 80, passed away February 2, 2008.

Born in Akron, Catherine has lived most of her life in the Akron-Cuyahoga Falls area. She was employed with Jensen Inc. Mfg. of modular homes retiring in 1990. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Silver Lake AARP.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ditzler. She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Joe) Kress and Sue (Don) Greenleaf both of Stow; grandchildren, Angie (Dan), Jenny (Erik), Brooks, Danielle, and Kendra; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Loretta (Bill) Keating of Fairlawn.

The family would like to thank Sumner of Ridgewood and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Keith Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 4 until 8 p.m. at the DONOVAN FUNERAL HOME, 17 SOUTHWEST AVE. (On the Historic Tallmadge Circle) and one hour prior to service time on Thursday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 767 E. Turkeyfoot Rd., Akron 44319 or Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2141 5th St., Cuyahoga Falls, 44221.
