Iris Wigley, 96, was born September 13, 1923 in Gober, Texas to parents, Emmett Franklin Broiles Sr. and Una Mae (Robinson) Broiles. She passed away September 24, 2019 in Mount Pleasant, SC.
She was married to W.A. Wigley in Dallas, Texas on March 15, 1945. W.A. was born December 8, 1921 in Gober, Texas, deceased August 14, 2000 in Garland, Texas. son, James Wigley of Charleston, SC. daughter, Judy Loving, born May 14, 1953 in Dallas, Texas, deceased April 28, 2018 in Austin, Texas, grand daughter, Rachel Loving.
Iris passed away in her sleep September 24, 2019 after a pleasant morning of reading birthday cards in the garden with her son and talking with loved ones on the phone. Her life was noted for her service to others through her long membership with the Austin Street Church of Christ in Garland, Texas where she was active in her participation with the youth groups there as well as her service to the elderly and others in need.
Preceded by her husband, W.A. Wigley and her daughter, Judy Loving. Survived by her sisters, Peggy Cummings and Luetta Callahan, her brother, Mack Broiles, her son, James Wigley and her grand-daughter.
