Glenda was reared in a Godly home and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and worshipped at Mount Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of her father the late Rev. Dr. J.T. Alexander.
She was educated at Vernon Academy and graduated from Douglas High School.
She was an employee of Delta Airline for more than 11 years.
