Born to Abraham and Maria Magdelena (Branner) Jones at Moores Store, Shenandoah County, Virginia. She was wife of Michael Miller (1790-1855). Phoebe died in 1893 at Cootes' Store, Rockingham County, Virginia on their family farm. She and Michael lost two sons in Co. B, 7th Virginia Cavalry, CSA, Civil War: William M. Miller, died July 12, 1862 from Typhoid Fever contracted in CSA service at home; and John Miller, May 28, 1864 killed at Battle of Haws Shop, Virginia. My 3rd Great Grandmother.
