Funeral services for Sam P. Roderick of Long Beach, California were held July 2 in the Bountiful 11th Ward.
He was born January 29, 1892 to Mr. and Mrs. William Roderick. He married Hannah Jones, June 5, 1912 at Malad, Idaho, later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Iril (Margaret) Olsen, Mrs. Eldon (Annie) Thaxton, Coos Bay, Oregon; Mrs. John (Vera) Masters, Las Vegas, Nevada; sons, Sam J., Coos Bay, Oregon; Chad J., Eugene, Oregon; John T., Bountiful; Dean R., Willets, California; Robert G., Buena Park, California; sisters, Annie Bailey and Esther Ashton of Ogden; Mary Bailey, Rupert, Idaho; brother, Ike Roderick, Portage, Utah.
Burial was in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
