Mrs. Durham was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed quilting, country music, dancing and gardening. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: two husbands, Jessie Emery and Floyd Sterling; her parents, James Alexander and Mary Bernice Ussery Bradley; and both sets of grandparents, including Phillip Alexander and Celia Bradley, with whom she lived for much of her childhood; one infant daughter, Irene Emery; two brothers, Cecil Bradley and Elbert Bradley; and one sister, Hilda Cathey.
She is survived by: her husband and friend, Bob Durham of Newport; four sons, J.L. Emery of Costa Rica and Marvin Emery, Ralph Emery and Terry Emery, all of Newport; one stepdaughter, Alesha Falwell; one brother, Claude Bradley; one sister, Thelma Lane, all of Newport; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services were in the Dillinger Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Coffeyville Cemetery. Arrangements were by Dillinger Funeral Home.
