Morgan graduated with honors from Fort Walton Beach (Florida) High School in 1999. While in high school, she excelled to the highest level in band as first chair flute in All County, All State, and All South Bands. Morgan was a winner in the City of Fort Walton Beach Talent Competition, was a recipient of the ‘Annie Shelton Music Scholarship', and was listed in the Who's Who among High School Students. After graduation she was selected with life-long friend, Jillian Acock, to tour Europe with the Sound of America Band to represent the best of the high school musicians in the U.S. Morgan went on to graduate cum laude with a B.S. in Music Therapy from William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. While attending William Carey College, she served as Vice President of the Music Therapy Student Organization and as first chair flute of the Carey Wind Ensemble. Morgan was also the recipient of the Student Award from the South Central Music Therapy Association. She was selected to intern at the Maryland School for the Blind in Baltimore, Maryland. While working for the Okaloosa County Schools in the Blended School, Morgan touched souls with her gift of music and was passionate about her work with children, especially in the field of Music Therapy with developmentally disabled children.
