Wesley "Dick" Henry

Wesley R. “Dick” Henry passed from this life on September 26, 2019 in Pueblo, Colorado.

He was born April 1, 1927 in Alamosa, Colorado.

Dick graduated from Alamosa High School, served in the US Navy during WWII and retired from CF&I Steel Mill in 1986 after 37 years.

Dick and Fran square danced for 44 years and enjoyed calling and cueing squares and rounds for 37 years, along with RVing for 29 years and playing golf.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Leola Henry; wife, Frances “Fran” Henry; son, Scott; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

His survivors include his daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Boyd and Kim (Gary) Huffman; his stepchildren, Wayne Meason, Clay Meason and Janice Krantz; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, 2 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Grace Christian Church, 630 Broadway Ave, on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 1 pm. Interment of his ashes will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of food and flowers donations may be made to Grace Christian Church, 630 Broadway Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004 or to Pueblo Pepper Steppers Square Dance Club, 2415 E. Orman Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004.
