Marian Dorothy Kramer, 83, of Upper Sandusky, died peacefully Saturday, April 6, 2013, at her daughter's home in rural Upper Sandusky.

She was born Nov. 24, 1929, in Tiffin, to Theodore M. "Teddy" and Mary (Benner) Reinhart, both of whom are deceased. She married Frederic C. Kramer and they were divorced.

Surviving are a daughter, Rebecca M. (Thomas) Kummerer and a son, Michael Kramer, both of rural Upper Sandusky; five grandchildren, Jenny (Shannon) Newman and Brian (Michelle) Kummerer, both of Upper Sandusky, Heidi (Eric) Trautwein of Marion, Christian Bedore of Pittsburg, Kan., and Kerry (Sara) Workman of Ashland; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vivian Kessel, Angela Droll and Phyllis Bohannon, all of Fostoria.

She was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Melvin "Moe" Iles; daughter-in-law, Melody Kramer; four brothers; and one sister.

Marian retired from General Electric, Tiffin, after 25 years. She was of the Catholic faith and hobbies she enjoyed were square dancing, gardening, home decorating, shopping on QVC, cooking and caring for her cats.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Transfiguration of the Lord Catholic Church, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. J.R. Hadnagy, O.F.M., officiating.

There will be a one-hour visitation Wednesday, before the funeral mass at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
