Tonya Lynn Swafford Ahrens 44, passed away on Friday , September 27, 2019 at her home in Cameron, Missouri. She married Jimmy Ahrens in Cameron, Missouri on September 8, 2018.
Tonya was born the daughter of Thomas David Swafford and Lora Clevenger McKee on December 2, 1974 in Blair, Washington County, Nebraska. She has lived most of her life in and around Cameron and Columbia, Mo.
Tonya joined the Army and was deployed in South Korea. She was deployed to Fort Bragg up on release. Retiring as E4Specialist.
Tonya was preceded in death by half sisters; still born twins, Belinda Lucille and Brenda Louise Swafford and Sandra Kay Swafford Schatzer. Grandparents: Thomas Woodrow and Evelyn Wade Swafford: Herbert F Clevenger and Geneva Irene McBee Clevenger.
She is survived by her Parents: Thomas David and wife Helen Swafford, and her mother Lora Lee McKee. Four sons: Dalton Lee Payne, Chanler, wife Kaitlynn Payne, Thomas Raymond Paul Wait, Mathew David Vogelsmeier. Daughter: Madison (Maddie) Lynn Vogelsmeier. Sisters: Mary Jane Swafford, Peggy Bell Swafford Embrey and husband James D Embrey, and Toni Lea Swafford, Columbia, Mo.
