Mr. Colvin was born on October 16, 1939 in Robbinsville, N.C. He was the son of the late Jack Dillard Colvin and Maude Stiles Colvin. He retired from the Fayette County Board of Commissioners as a Fleet Machinic. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Griffin Ward.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, June Colvin; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Heather Colvin; grandchildren, Elizabeth Colvin, Emily Colvin, Danielle Colvin, River Colvin, and Benjamin Colvin; brother, Casey Colvin; sister Joann Millsaps; nieces and nephews and other family also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Dee Colvin will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family of Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 10AM until the service hour at the church. Haisten McCullough Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
